1/4 cup of sugar
3 tbsp of water
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. On a cookie sheet covered with aluminum foil, coat foil with non stick spray.
In a nonstick pan combine sugar, water and spices. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved. Add pecans, continue to stir until pecans evenly and completely coated.
Spread pecans on cookie sheet and bake for 25 minutes. Be sure to toss pecans about half way through. When pecans are done, lift foil from the cookie sheet place foil on counter and allow pecans to cool. Once they have cooled, break apart. The pecans will last for a week in an airtight container.
